…I didn’t know whether to put this in the Winter Olympic thread but it’s a huge emerging story, it can be moved into that thread if that’s felt the thing…
Ukrainian skeleton racer Vladyslav Heraskevych has been banned from competing at the Winter Olympics after he insisted on wearing a helmet depicting athletes killed since Russia's invasion. The International Olympic Committee claims the helmet violates rules which prevent political statements while athletes are competing
