And tbf I've only just started Season 4 so far, but tbh I do think that it might end up being the weakest Season so far.

- Lourdes writing has jumped off a cliff. I controversially didn't mind her in the first three Seasons, but this current character development that she's going through is just so rushed that I feel like that it's out of character for her to behave like she's currently behaving imo.

- I weren't keen on how

Jeanne was wrote out of the Show.

Again it was an interesting idea, but far too rushed for my taste.

- The pacing in general is going too fast paced imo, the Show needs to take a breather like the Seasons prior to it.

There's a few other nitpicks I could go for, but I can cope with those issues for now at least.

And I have enjoyed the Season still for the most part, I even am able to embrace Lexi's storyline.

My favourite characters this Season so far have been Ben, Pope, Anthony, Matt, and Anne (minus one out of character scene for her) but she has been great away from that scene imo.

Tom and Weaver are great characters, but I don't think that they're at their best so far after the first 4 episodes of the Season.

Overall I would score the Show so far an 9/10, I have not really had a dull period of the Show yet, even the dodgy material is a fun talking point in my view.

I've finished watching all five Seasons of Falling Skies.

I really got addicted to the Show on the rewatch, especially the first three Seasons.

Although 4 does have it's moments tbf, and Season 5 I genuinely do think is a good Season away from Pope and Anthony's material unfortunately for them two, as I had liked them both up til that point, and tbh I still do like their characters, but Season 5 was a bad Season for both of them imo.

But overall great Show imo, I've not been hooked on an American TV Show like that probably since Mindhunter (which credit to Netflix tbf on Mindhunter) I'm torn on who my favourite character was between Weaver, Pope, Tom, and the very stunning Anne.

Tbh I think that I am a Pope guy, bad Season 5 material aside I did just really enjoy the character, I'd be lying if I said someone else.

I've also got to add that Ben was a great character too, I think especially his Season 2 material really helped elevate that Season for me personally. So I just wanted to give him an honourable mention.

And my rankings for the Seasons go like this.

4. Season 5
5. Season 4 (although I did still get a guilty pleasure kick out of this season lol)

Imo a really underrated Show of it's time, I think that there could've been room for two really hyped up by the Media and by the general public Post-Apocalyptic Shows at the time, but it did get 5 Seasons tbf so it weren't completely underappreciated.

Oh yes, Tommo's in it. If I hate it, at least I can just sit and look at him in quite a creepy way. I don't like everything he does, I didn't like Havoc... But, you know... It was worth a watch just for Big Tom.

…I started to binge Scarpetta yesterday, it’s only 8 episodes so an easy binge and I’m already on episode 7 next…it has very mixed reviews with some really bad ones calling it dire……it’s not the most slickly put together story but it is a solid story and the cast is superb…Nicole Kidman, Simon Baker, Jamie Lee Curtis…I can see why the reviews are a bit sketchy, as I say…its a bit bumpy as opposed to flowing smoothly and effortlessly but I still think that it’s a worthy watch…it’s a constant backward and forward time shift story but easy to follow because the ‘younger self’ cast is different so we easily know when it’s shifted…anyways, still a recommendation…

…that it’s left it open for another season to follow up…but if the reviews aren’t good then that might not happen, obviously…despite the dodgy reviews, I liked it…it wasn’t as slick and smooth flowing as it could have been but the storyline and twists were gripping and interesting enough and some very damaged/layered characters…
