…can I just ask because I’m so terribly unfamiliar with AI technology, how do you use it/what would it be used and useful for in workplace tasks and also on a personal level….?…

Claude can basically do anything on your computer that you could do. It can also create graphics, book appointments, etc. I use it primarily in coding tasks. On a personal level you could get it to find the best price for an item you want to buy. Give you any advice that you want really.

It is also very good at problem solving, it is also very good at research.

The latest version of Claude has multi agent capability, so you can get it to co-ordinate and check the work of sub agents that can work in parallel with each other

…that’s all interesting to know and obviously a very good technology tool…when we hear about these things in news articles etc…?..we tend to only be informed of some kind of negative, which can have quite devastating consequences so it’s good to know that it can be such a positive/effective tool as well…

i find it a very educational tool. For example, if you interact with it, it can explain things to you and educate you while you interact. You can also question its findings if you think its wrong and it will learn from that

It also changes how it interacts based on how you interact with it, so if you say something it said was crap, it will make absolutely sure to check its answers in the future .... or get another AI agent to check its work

it does get insecure, because it doesn't want to disappoint you. Previous version would tell you a response because it thought it would make you happy, new versions will actually tell you that something is not possible

I have 4 on my phone which I rarely use but when I do I ask them all the same question and then work out the best of all the info

copilot uses chatgpt for the moment, although that will change at some point in the future

within a year, a significant % of the population will have an AI assistant that goes everywhere with them. There are AI glasses available now where the AI sees everything you do and can assist you in your every day life. The people that don't have this will be at a disadvantage to those that do, so it's pretty obvious how it is going to pan out.

I'm not talking about that type of AI.

I'm talking about the AI boyfriends and girlfriends that are becoming quite trendy for people that are feeling lonely, and instead of being encouraged to meet other Human Beings, they're being promoted AI.
