The Amanda Wixon case is honestly one of the darkest things I’ve read for ages. What she did wasn’t just cruelty — it was pure evil. That’s the part I can’t get past. How does someone torture another human being for twenty years without anyone noticing? How does a person like Wixon manage to hide that level of violence and control for so long?

The victim is finally safe, but the fact that Wixon managed to run a private hell behind a normal front door for so many years is genuinely chilling.

Because when people think of cases like this (speaking for myself anyway) I tend to think of male perpetrators.

I don't think that anyone is looking out for a woman to be so cruel to another woman in this kind of manner.
