Controversial opinion here but I support homophobia in a way. Some people find it to be immoral because of the religion and the bible, and some religious people can't change their views. I'm semi religious and believe in certain things, but some people are sort of contradictory (myself included) who say that its immoral to be gay, yet they're the ones having sex before marriage and arguing with people etc. But the most hated family in America just take it to extremes. Theres beliefs (and whether agreed with by the majority or not people are entitled to them) but then theres just sickening and an embarrassment to an entire religion.
However, I can see both sides and I don't see the point in it. It doesn't affect me in any way so who am I to judge who other people want to jump into bed with? Men can sleep with other men, and I won't be sleeping with other men but still why do I have the right to condemn someone else for it, because its clearly not going to affect me?
Anyway my opinions split on it, do I go from the Christian point of view but then contradict myself for other aspects of my own life or do I view it from the "I couldn't give two sh*ts what other people get up to" perspective yet go against God? Its OK for complete atheists to say "God isn't real, follow your heart" etc but its just not that simple when you're in a religious frame of mind.
