BB1 winner Craig wants ‘All Stars’ series

He thinks the public would switch back on

Craig Phillips, who won the first series of Big Brother, thinks that there should be an ‘All Stars’ series of the reality show.

Speaking to the Metro, the original Big Brother winner said: “Speaking to some of the other housemates, I think they would do it - I would do it but only for a week or two, not for a long time.”

Craig believes that the Channel 4 reality show has been losing its grip over the last few years, saying: “I personally think it’s been exhausted, they’re trying all these different angles and I don’t really know what direction they can go in.”

He added: “If the tenth show is a good one, and they finalise on the eleventh one with all the winners, I think that would be a good time to call it a day.”

Last summer’s series of Big Brother was the least watched ever at the time with 3.6m viewers, although CBB6 did even worse earlier this year with just 3.3m. Craig thinks that having all the previous winners in the same series could bring viewers back to the show.

He said: “I think it would be a good show, I certainly think the public would switch on to it.

“The winners have generally been the public’s favourite so I think it would get the viewing figures back up again, and I think that would be a nice note to end it on.”

BB10 starts on Thursday 4th June at 9pm.

To be honest, I'm totally against an 'All Stars Series'. I mean, they've had the BB experience, wore the tee-shirt, had their 15 minutes with Davina and moved on with their lives. Please, no. Anyone with me?

i think its a great idea ive always said it maybe do that instread of a celeb bb though just 4 a few weeks. but i agree with the makosi nikki etc one that wud b fab. or wot about all the 1st hms voted out?

I would like to see an All-Stars version as a one-off, maybe replacing Celebrity Big Brother one year. But not the winners. The viewers could possibly vote who goes in via the website. Then the votes are counted but not revealed so we dont actually know whos going in until Launch Night.

I'd love to see some old faces back, but maybe not all the actual 'winners'...? Having said that I think I'd prefer this series to be as normal with new housemates and maybe use the All-Star idea for January instead for

a Celebrity series...

i think it's quite a good idea, but NOT winners. we should be able to vote for the top 10 or something. problem with winners is some of them were actually quite dull, we should be able to vote in some of the characters who because they were loud got thrown out early on.
