Yes he was. And I don't think he has the brain power to even think that he might have been evicted if he had taken the money. None of us know what he would have done - maybe even he himself doesn't know what he would have done. However, when he finally realised that Eugene hadn't known that the prize money would have doubled if he had said no, Anthony himself said that he would have taken the money. It was only when he was outside the house that he said that he wouldn't have done so.

Indeed - and how many times did he need to be told that Eugene didn't know? I can think of at least THREE times - more than that if you count the number of times it had to be repeated to him in each conversation.

Of course, he told Eugene several times in the house 'Don't worry, mate, I'd have done the same thing, alreeet?'
The first thing he said when he was out? 'No, I'd never have done that, never.' |

He was told in the diary room, too. But even after that, he still looked shocked when he asked Eugene to explain it ... again ...

I know, he's so stupid that I don't even feel sorry for him, I just get annoyed. People need to tell him the same thing repeatedly before it actually soaks in.
