Some of the reasons they cited:

- Web clips are more popular (they aren't and can't be compared to live feed in the first place)

- Shows like I'm A Celebrity ditched live feed ages ago (Live feed was never a feature of shows like that, where as it is one of the fundamental factors of Big Brother)

- It doesn't get enough viewers (it recently came to light that the average live feed rating for BB9 was around 450,000, compared to the average of 3.6million that watched highlights)
