What does it take to make it on BB based on these housemates?

Charlie winning Mr Gay UK and thus appearing on TV
Noirin being on a reality TV show before with her bf

Karlie doing FHM, etc
Halfwit being loaded and knowing the producers to get fast-tracked
Angel being a pro boxer, rock star, etc (lol, but it's true, ITV4!)

It seems fake, there are some legit ones in there, but I think it's a joke that so many who already have money/been on TV/have their name known/in mags etc get on, portrayed as 'randomners off the street'.

I respect the fact that Marcus, Lisa, etc are legit and regular, ordinary people.

It should be a show for regular people to get on because of their character, mainly personality. Not because of knowing the right people or having appeared on mags/TV before. Utter BS.

BB should be ashamed of themselves, Karly saying her bloke would never appear on a show like this.. then hey presto, he arrives on Friday. So did he fill out a application form when everyone else went for the adution process or have BB approached him at a later date! what a scam. and it just shows that the whole show is a con to make money of the voting process, what I totally disagree with is that , karly, Ken, halfwit, Sophie, Norine, and who ever else in the show have either got Loads of money or appeared on TV or Media before.... we should all boycott the friday vote and keep them all in, an let channel 4 rig the eviction process to see who goes... in other words.. Let Channel 4 decide who goes!!!

They auditioned as totally random, unknowns with no record of anything. It should be a show for the general public to try their chance.

An the thing is.... they are soooooo boring it actually makes the show worse. Too scared to have sex on the show in case they look bad.. aint that what we all wanna see, lots of nookie and sex!!! and loads of jokes as well, and these lot aint got a joke between them.. i aint laughed once during this series and its supposed to a 10th birthday.. ive seen more jokes of flies crowding round shyte!!! as soon as someone raises thier voice BB is telling them to calm down... a 2min protest and being told off and behave... I say get them all out and start the show over again... add me in the house.. then again no , i'll go in next year and show BB what fun is all about.. and hope they put a few women that do like a shandy on a Friday night and know what car bonnets are for.... *wink wink, say no more....

Lots of people have had their face on the telly without actually becoming famous, so I don't think this should disqualify anyone from appearing.

As for having money - are you suggesting BB should only be for working class people? Only I thought it was supposed to be a cross-section of society.

I can kind of see where you're coming from when you suggest most of the housemates are already in the entertainment business in one way or the other, but this isn't unusual, at least this year isn't a freak show like BB7 almost was.

I'm actually really enjoying this year, and I'm loving the effect the new housemates are having on the dynamics.

Ken should be dropped as fast as possible though.

What im saying is... how did Ken actually get choosen to go onto BB? did he go to a audition or was he approached at a later stage?
If he was approached then that just goes to show that the Producers of the programme have 'targeted' or selected people and the basis of ordinary cross section goes out the window!!!

because if you see whats happening the contestants are being choosen for the z-celeb status they may already have. maybe thats why the show has lost its general appeal because of the media connection to the HM's which has been creeping into the format for the last few years.

I attended the london audition and people who i thought would be representive of ordinary people didnt get in, so why choose HM's because thier are models or Mega rich...

lets see more folk in the house that were like BB1.. not star stuck but actually up for a laugh and interesting!

come on why would a bunch of people wanna be angry about mis laying a drink!! and then squabbling and crossing thier heart that they didnt take it... this years show has been petty and childish.


I do agree the new HM's have changed the Dynamics but that would naturally happen in most social interactions and group settings.. and BB is supposed to be a social experiment.

These people were probably brilliant in there auditions..lively and that, but fake. then when they go in the house theyre their boring selves

alot of the hms this year supposedly have been back ups before and tester contestants (going in the house for a couple of weeks before to see what its like and test the house out)

I completely agree, no wannabees please, and I think no uber fans of BB bcause they start to act like the characters who were popular before (most of the girls try to copy nikki)
