Journey South Thought Bad Day was good - 7/10, but I LOVED Candle In The Wind - performance of the night for me. Incidentally Sharon said that Elton doesn't perform that song any more, but I thought it was just the Diana version that he doesn't perform? I thought he still did the original. Anyway, great show for JS, and they totally deserved their place next week.
Chico I Feel Good was...memorable! Not a great vocal performance, but a lot of fun! As for Timewarp - I hate that song, but I actually enjoyed Chico's version tonight. It was right that he went, but I enjoyed watching him tonight.
Brenda I could not understand all the fantastic comments about I'm Outta Love, because I thought it was Brenda's worst performance yet. I love Anastascia and that song, but I thought Brenda's rendition was just boring. But her second song was excellent - one of her best performances in the whole show.
Andy I didn't think Easy Lover was that bad! I love that song, because I think Philip Bailey has got an amazing voice, and admittedly it wasn't the best choice for Andy, but I don't think he did too bad with it, and the judges seemed very harsh. When I Fall In Love - nobody will ever do that song like Nat King Cole, but Andy did a great version.
Shayne Take Your Mama wasn't bad - not half as good as the Scissor Sisters though. Careless Whisper left me underwhelmed, like so many of Shayne's performances. I didn't think he did very well with it to be honest.
