Default Can Marcus really close the gap?

Looks like it might be a photo finish.

I like em both, but, for many reasons, I want Marcus to stay.

But as always it largely depends on the editing; last nights LF showed Marcus on top form and Bea as a spoilt cow, but how will they edit it? It's all in the editing.

Or is eviction veteran Freddie the clear winner for friday?

It will really depend on the editing. Marcus was superb last night, calm, intelligent, relaxed, and just let Bea destroy herself. But it was a good 40 minutes or so of great viewing, which they will try and condense into about 3. Though of course, I expect Charlie's awful, stupid display will be edited out.

I hope they show it well, all those who have criticed Marcus as thick, aggressive, rude etc will see how calm, thoughtful, articulate and intelligent he really can be.

The ones ranting were Bea and Charlie.

I was watching last night, Marcus was spot on what he was saying about Bea.
Hopefully he will stay and Freddie will get evicted this Friday.

BB like Marcus, they`ll show him in a good light tonight, they want Halfwit out because of the ratings the eviction will get when he goes, thats why they showed him acting so smug last night.

Marcus has a good chance of staying now, but I think if his so called "Loyal" fans dont vote this week then be endangered, Marcus fans like myself were in every thread wanting Noirin out to save him, saying how much times they voted.

This week it seems Im the only one whos accually voting because the rest of you are saying you like both of them, well tuff!
Freddie has given all he can and hes gotten old.

Marcus is still entertaining!

think you are spot on re fred if he stays.

Also makes the upcoming nomination rounds so predictable cos they are all after Fred's blood now.

Its going to be the most exciting and closest eviction for this years BB!. My gut feeling tells me that Freddie might get the chop!. Nobody likes cocky people, and Freddie put his foot in it last night which will sadly get him evicted!

agree totally re the power of the edit...it deserves a good ten minutes of show time but like you said will get 3 mins...

Think we are mostly agreed folks that on the whole we want Marcus to stay even if we like Fred.

Lets hope it can be pulled off. If Marcus stays it's gonna be a massive turn around re votes. An astounding feat actually.

Marcus did himself no harm last night. However nether did freddie in a mistaken way he was hilaroius with his chest beating mood.........That too could make some think let's have more of this amusing fool......Marcus was good but not funny.........People like a good laugh as well as drama.......

Not that the Marcus exchange with Bea could be called drama from Marcus because he was so placid I thought he was going to fall asleep half way through his sentences......

We just want marcus to sink under the radar, and freddie to act like an idiot so people hate him and want to evict him!

I like Freddie but Marcus is the one I want to stay. Freddie's involvement last night was largely down to goading through the window by Charles. In a melodramatic display of false tears, Bea shouting at Marcus the frankly astounding line of: "You can dish it out but you can't take it!" So inappropriate for the circumstances it was almost surreal. Especially as in the height of her tantrum she thumped the diary room button and missed and Charlie had to press it for her. It became so loud that Freddie woke up, and then he heard that line of Bea's which made him laugh, reasonably enough. Then Charlie started goading and being stupid. I hope this is also shown.

It should also be remembered that Bea and Charlie were scheming and stealing the drinks of Marcus and Freddie.

maybe...But marcus is smart and I think he knows that Bea is not liked on the outside.

Thus Marcus calculated that having an argument with Bea where he stayed calm, firm, polite and in control whilst she turned into a raving monster would gather him more support than staying under the radar so to speak.

spot on Shash...also Charlies indignation that Fred dare get out of bed when bea and marcus were arguing is a bit unsavioury; after all when Charlie returned the booze he fairly chucked it in and the racket woke Fred up.

Maybe Chaz wanted to wake up Fred, wanted Freddie to get up so Charles could lay into him and etc. Charles is a real snake and not so thick as he likes to portray himself.

Does look like Marcus will be evicted but he does i think genuinely want to leave

I really don't think Freddie will crack up he's a strong minded little bloke when he wants to be

agree re Fred; he's as tough as a terrier...but even so he will be v isolated with Marcus gone and i really do think it will get very viscous for him then.

Not sure i agree with you though Marcus really wanting to leave, not sure at all, maybe he's just saving face cos he's known for a while that he's likely to go soon?

With the odds as they are at present:

Marcus: 2/7
Freddie: 7/2

.................. it would be amazing if Marcus could manage to avoid eviction.

Can anyone think of a similar scenario in previous BBs, i.e. odds were massively in favour of one person to be evicted, but the other one actually got evicted?

If not, I think Mr Wolverine-alike is a goner.
