Apparently his mother is getting better because he is in the final weeks of BB. She knows it was his 'dream' (to much X factor Charlie) etc. etc.

Of course he was implying that if he wins his mother will immediatly get better.

Nice try Charlie, don't think its going to work for you though.

That was shocking...I wish his mum all the best, I really do, but he was blatantly trying to squeeze the sympathy vote there...why on earth would his mother be getting better BECAUSE he was on BB? Seriously...

Im not a Charlie fan at all but you all need to grip! Charlie isnt intelligent enough to plan that - he just got good news about his mother and why shouldnt he talk about it! Who are any of you to say he is using his mother to win? its a horrible attitude

We don't know the circumstances, I believe she was aware before the Coma that he would be in it or was up for it.
It maybe that they are playing BB show sound tapes to her in her room.
Although seemingly out of it Coma patients are often played favourite songs, spoken to etc.

what a small minded disgraceful attitude.ffs,of course he was bloody crying,anyone with half a heart would be.whats shocking is that anyone wouldnt have that same reaction,did he fake those tears to then.i find it sad that someone crys over something so emotional,and they are accused of trying to get the sympathy vote.not everyone thinks in the same manipulative way,they were real,and did he bang on all night like bea did,over her message,now thats baying for sympathy,and hardly on the same level.as merv quite rightly pointed out,hearing tapes,music etc,can be beneficial to people in comas.i find it odd that people are so quick to judge.

Noone is saying anything about him crying...its the fact that he decided to say that his being on BB has made her better, which is ridiculous. Someone being on a tv show, does not bring people round from comas...

Of course not everybody thinks in the same manipulative way, but Charlie has proven himself insincere, manipulative and amoral throughout the show. Why at the sudden occurance of this "heartwrenching" message from home, should I be forced to change my mind?

Many people are suddenly coming out to support in a week where people are finally beginning to see through his act and that's exactly what he wants. It is incredibly naive to think that the lowlives that often count for BB housemates wouldn't stoop to any low.

I don't think he was trying to influence the voters but I did find it incredibly odd how quickly he took complete and total credit for his mother showing signs of improvement. I think it's just another window into how self-centred he is and how brightly he thinks the sun shines out of his arse.

She's not actually in a coma. She's conscious and aware of what's around her she's just unresponsive to stimuli. So technically she's in a persistant vegative state.

i fully agree that there have been many hms who would stoop to low levels,but i dont think there have been many who would stoop so low as to use a loved ones serious illness to achieve success.i guess i dont like to think that there are really people who are that disgusting,so,i suppose that could be classed as naive.whatever peoples opinions of charlie are,however insincere people may find him,it doesnt necassarily mean his love or concern for his mum is not genuine.
