Default BB manipulated Bea\'s eviction there...

Suprised no one has mentioned the clear manipulation on BB's part over the past highlights show. Last week everyone was speaking out about how Freddie and Marcus being up was a fix from BBs part and how it was "wrong" to do so. But no one has mentioned the fact that these past noms were the most manipulated by BB to get Bea up. I'm not complaining, thank god she's going, but still, i do think there are some double standards here.

And anyone who says it wasn't a fix is blind.

Even if BB hadn't have chosen the noms for Sophie and Siavash, she would be up anyway.

How was it a fix?

BB said to the viewers that the first 2 people Siavash had physical contact with - and the first 2 names that Sophie said - those people would be up for nomination! How could bb have known who those people would be?

There was no need for BB to manipulate Bea's eviction, most of the housemates nominated her this week, so she would have been up anyway.

Total fix. They only decided what they were going to say Siavash and Sophie would do to nominate after they'd done it, i would be more convinced if it was the same conditions for both. However, bea got 5 and Marcus and David got 3, take away Siavash and Sophies nominations and bea would still be up with 3.

You don't need to call the police (although people phone authorities over lesser crimes on BB),
but,
When viewers become aware that this program does not 'really' work by strict nominating and voting systems and has more to do with the producers 'pulling strings' then they may stop watching.
Certainly people can think twice about paying money to vote.
They may be less likely to follow along for the 'suspense' if they believe its 'rigged' and maybe even predetermined who will go through anyways.

You don't need to call the police but you might decide you will NOT phone the vote line this week.
Why should you bother?

It always astounds me when people realise that they are being manipulated but they soon forget and continue watching BB and X Factor and getting all thier information from The Daily Star and believing complete works of fiction like the Katie and Peter Story. It's all anaesthetic and a distraction and i'm glad they are disctracted. It keeps plebs under control and away from all the things that I like.

Who cares. If they hadn't added those 2 votes anyways. She would of still been up cuz she would of had 3 votes like Marcus and David.

Lets just embrace the fact that she is up.

It's all anaesthetic and a distraction and i'm glad they are disctracted. It keeps plebs under control and away from all the things that I like.
And it is astonishing but I don't like it when I find out there is more of them than there are of us.
Plebs put dictators into power and they hang us from church gates to die.

Here might be the most astonishing thing.. and fascinating:
When they first started the Big Brother experiments it actually referred to Orwells 'Big Brother'.
(look it up kids),
and,
That is what author Stephen King correctly described as a 'Horror Novel'.
It used to be considered highly disturbing and creepy and what we now call a 'hate crime' to invade privacy, have authorities monitoring people.
The idea that the government would place cameras in homes and begin regulating behavior and opinions and things said was considered:
A NIGHTMARE.
Many of us were fascinating with the Big Brother social and psychological experiment as a way to test this,
to show the public the effects,
and even as a WARNING to our society by way of a nightly example.
With increased CCTV (at that time) and 'PC' speak-think becoming acceptable I thought THIS will be a great way for people to really see what might happen if we keep going!
No.
In what might be one of the most worrisome trends we saw a public that happily accepted it and, if anything became desensitized to the idea and entirely less bothered by real government surveillance.
To the point that, 10 years later, Brits don't even seem to be aware there is any problem.
Don't even know why I find it absolutely creepy as fukk every time Im in London.
Don't even know why other countries use them as an example of what can go wrong when strict 'think-speak' laws are enacted and enforced.
Brits now just assume its normal AND don't even comment on how disturbing it might be to participate in Big Brother.
In fact people have contempt that applicants are 'attention lovers'.
As if they wish they could be monitored 24/7 and broadcast too.

That is truly disturbing.
I'd like to be like you thinking how it keeps them occupied and away from other things,
but,
No, I would much rather a majority were constantly keen and wary and took the programme seriously.. NOT for what it is in itself... but as a way to develop a social dialog about what can go wrong,
why it can go wrong,
what do our rules mean and should they apply to everyone equally,
How does voting matter or represent IF this or that happens,
etc.

What none of you realize is I am the one fixing the nominations.

I decide who goes up. It doesn't matter what the housemates do.

Surprised?

The money they bring in on Friday from Beas eviction line will be great for them, hopefully they`ll put it to their savings for a better house next year
