Actually also Swedish is an official language here. But in BB they have to speak Finnish, unless told otherwise by Big Brother.
Last year there were 3 Russian-born HMs. One of them was trying to teach Russian to one of the other HMs. Big Brother told them to speak Finnish. This year we have 2 Estonian HMs (Kätlin and Ragnar)...they spoke a few words in Estonian when they first met. But switched to Finnish, before Big Brother told them to.
