Maybe not so many singles sales, McGinn, but that's probably because Will's last single was also on his album. 'From Now On' has already gone double platinum (over 600,000 copies sold) and is still selling around 20-25,000 copies a week. That's not bad at all in my book!

I'm not surprised in the least that the most recent two 'Popstars the Rivals' bands haven't sold nearly so many records . . . . . . . because they're simply not in the same league vocally IMHO, and none of the songs were particularly good either.

I think the best thing for reality TV pop programmes to do would be to have a break for a couple of years, to allow new talent to develop. Otherwise, they'll just be trawling through all the people who've already been rejected for Pop Idol or Popstars over and over again.
