Only for my own ears! Ha ha. I like to mix. Especially the old with the new. It is not a hobby though or anything. Just on the odd occasions.

I would say that some older stuff is much better on vinyl as in some cases it does not seem to transfer to Cd/Mp3 format as effectively and tends to lack in something which sometimes is down to poor re-mastering. The only trouble with vinyl is it can get scratched and jump etc. Some people say though small scratches add to the unique ambience of vinyl. Some Cd's have even had such an effect included purposely to make them sound old.

I do as 12" remixes
are great.

Also some records do not get a CD release
due to Legal or Lost Original Tapes.

There are great Record Shops in London
and some around the country.

How Dare you put CD and MP3 in one bit

CD is above Record and has extra channels that cfan not come out on a LP.

MP3 is below Record in Quality.

And SACD 5.1
DVDA and DTS 5.1 are the best out there.

It is no Crime

I still have some tapes I got from the 90's! Steps, Aqua, Spice Girls. I don't think I even knew CD's existed.

My parents still have all their vinyls stored away somewhere. I remember seeing Michael Jackson's Thriller and Bad in there and it was like, wow!

With better HiFi
it can be.

But I have a LP
and a CD version of a Quincy Jones 1975 recording
and the CD has extra Instruments that can not come out
of the 1975 Record.

So in Some Cases CD is Supreme

Obviously alot depends on the equipment you're using - speakers and the like- but yes, the sound is better off vinyl. Much more depth to it.
