Its not her personality I have a problem with. I just dont like her music anymore. She tries too hard to follow the trend, instead being herself. But she use to be one of my favorites by far.

Exclusive: A Look Into Madonna's Cauldron
With the release of the Celebration album and single and the coming release of the Sticky and Sweet tour on dvd it would seem logic for any artist to take a pause and enjoy the success but that doesn't happen to Madonna, who is working on more releases for her fans to enjoy. First of all there's Revolver, the second new track on her greatest hits album that, as previously reported by MadonnaTribe a while back, will be the second single release off the compilation. The news is that lots of remixers have been contacted to remix the song and among them we find Tracy Young, David Guetta and Paul Van Dyke. And Guetta will not only give his own treatment to the second single, because he's also working on a remix for Celebration together with Akon. But for die hard fans the most exciting news regarding her music is that for Christmas we'll also get brand new house remixes of two of her biggest classics: Holiday and Into The Groove! Meanwhile Madonna will also be busy with another fashion campaign. She will team up again with photographer Steven Klein next month for the new Dolce & Gabbana campaign, but the cool thing is that this time she will model not for the women's collection but for the men's! We are sure Madonna and Klein will come up with some great ideas for this one! That's it for now and stay tuned to MadonnaTribe.com, the home of Madonna fans that is your number one source for Madonna news! ![]()

Madonna Celebrates 3rd Week Atop Euro Chart
Madonna's 'Celebration' (Warner Bros.) moves into a third week at No. 1 on Top 100 Albums, as 'Sexy Chick' (Gum/Positiva/Virgin/EMI) by David Guetta featuring Akon secures a sixth week at No. 1 on European Hot 100 Singles. The Madonna compilation moves back 2-1, where it entered two weeks ago, in Ireland, and remains in runner-up spot in the United Kingdom and Finland. But it's down 1-8 in Germany. From Billboard.com

This story just makes me laugh. Madonna sure is funny!
NYC neighbor sues Madonna over loud music One of Madonna’s New York neighbors says the superstar’s loud music and frequent dance sessions are causing a commotion. Karen George, of Manhattan, lives above Madonna in a building on Central Park. She said in a lawsuit filed Friday against the building’s co-op board that the Material Girl is using her apartment as a rehearsal studio, forcing neighbors to endure “blaring music, stomping and shaking walls,” for up to three hours each day. George complained about “unreasonably high-decibel, amplified music” and vibrations pouring through walls, ceilings and radiators. The building’s board says it has already threatened to evict Madonna. Madonna’s representatives didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. source: ap

I would love to live next to Madonna. Some people moan at anything. Maybe she is working on new material in the apartment?

Madonna, U2, AC/DC lead Touring Awards finalists
Madonna, U2 and AC/DC are among the finalists for the 2009 Billboard Touring Awards, which are based on global box-office numbers reported to Billboard Boxscore from October 1, 2008, through September 30, 2009. The awards will be presented at a November 5 reception in New York. The finalists for the Top Tour and Top Draw awards, which acknowledge the top-grossing and top-ticket-selling tours, respectively, are the same three global treks: U2's 360 tour, Madonna's Sticky & Sweet tour, and AC/DC's Black Ice tour. The Top Package award goes to the top-grossing tour with three or more artists on the bill. Finalists include five-time winner Kenny Chesney for his Sun City Carnival tour with Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum, Sugarland and Montgomery Gentry on the bill; the Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009 with Jordin Sparks, Honor Society and Wonder Girls; and Nickelback for their Dark Horse tour, with Hinder, Papa Roach, and Saving Abel on board. The Breakthrough Award goes to the top-grossing artist in their first decade as a national headlining act. Four artists enjoyed touring breakthroughs this year: Lil Wayne, Taylor Swift, Kings of Leon, and Il Divo. Dane Cook, Robin Williams, and French & Saunders are finalists for the Top Comedy Tour. Finalists for the Top Boxscore award, which goes to the top-grossing single engagement for the time period, are U2 at Croke Park in Dublin, U2 at Stade de France in Paris, and the Oxegen fest at Punchestown Racecourse in Naas, Ireland. MADONNA hates hearing her old songs.
Legendary tracks such as Holiday and Like A Virgin follow her around wherever she goes. But the Queen of Pop admitted that she has to tell staff in shops and restaurants to switch them off. "Not to toot my own horn but they always play my old stuff when I'm in a shop or wherever," she said. "They are usually songs I am really sick of though and I have to say 'Oh please, turn this off.' "For some reason people think that when you go to a restaurant or you are going shopping that you want to hear one of your own songs. "It's usually Like a Virgin - and that is the one I don't want to hear." Meanwhile Macca fans were up in arms after Madge appeared to suggest his shows were boring. "People have told me, 'You could just go out there and play guitar and sing your songs like Paul McCartney,' but I'd be too bored," she told Rolling Stone magazine. "Most of the joy of the shows is the magic of creating them -- theatre. I'm a perfectionist. I like hard work. I like to sweat." Read more: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...#ixzz0UJY1z6Ke |
