Her 'legend' status has been manufactured completely by manipulation. Her image is based around arrogance; whether she is genuinely arrogant or not, I'm not sure, it's hard to see where the act ends and real life begins with her - and her obsessive hardcore fans reflect that. I love Gaga but shes not a legend, shes been around on the music scene properly for a year. Sorry to say but she isn't legend material yet.

Zac, as a Gaga fan myself you make me want to hate her. It's obsessive fans like you who when someone says something bad about their favourite artist they bite back with "whatever they're a legend" "this many number ones" etc.

Gaga music isn't too everyones tastes and neither is Cheryl's. So leave it as a difference of opinion and move on...

You only have to listen to her music to know that she's a musical legend, they're some of the best song of all time, ever produced. & She is in no way manufactured, the way she is is just who she is and she'll never stop. She's not just the typical pop-star, like Cheryl Cole.

But I can't leave it with the things these people are saying about my idol. You all know how I feel and how protective I am with Gaga.

She's not even been in the mainstream for a year yet! Your ignorance astounds me. Musical legends are established acts; more often than not they're dead, that's how long they've been around. Lady Gaga is a fad. She might turn out to be a really enduring artist and be around in twenty years time, still hitting the top end of the chart - then you can call her a 'legend'.

She is not who she is. She is an image, which she has manufactured herself - she is highly manufactured.

Actually yes I am, I've told y'all in the Gaga thread before that I am. She told her fans to 'dress accordingly' for the tour and I will.

I'm planning to write a song for her too and see if she likes it.

I'm also going to make a huge collage for her because I know how much she loves art.

I'm gonna attempt to make my own disco stick as well. I'll probably do a couple more things for her too.
