Default Laura White and Alexandra Burke from last year supported Rachel Adedeji

Well, we all know that ALexandra clearly wanted Rachel to win it from the start, knowing her from last year and loving her voice etc.

But, Rachel was apparently also Laura White's favorite, saying on her twitter page that Rachel was the best and should keep her chin up high

I thought that was interesting cause Laura White was sort of the Rachel of this year. Lovely voice, first one of the girls eliminated, lovely personality, and just to re-enforce it - a fantastic voice.

Laura was great, and so was Rachel. Laura's album is out now, and all the best to Rachel!

There's no comparison between Rachel and Laura, no comparison whatsoever.

Yes, you keep thinking that Jack. Laura loves Rachel's voice as did every mentor who came on the show. The girl is so talented.

Except people backed Laura to week 5 and didn't even back Rachel beyond week 1

No similarities really

Laura's vocal ability is a thousand times stronger than Rachel's.

That's because Laura was given far more exposure prior to the beginning of the live shows which is crucial in order to gain a fanbase. Rachel never had that luxury. Laura, like all the mentors, knows quality when she hears it.

Neither did Leona, and she was just average in week 1.

I did like Rachel though, its a shame she never got the backing.

Yeah, but Leona had the backing of Simon which is really crucial. The other thing is that I don't think the public want another singer like Leona or Alexandra. They're looking for something different.

Not at first she didn't, at the start Simon thought Ashley was going to win and expected Leona to leave in the middle stages

I agree they'll be looking for something different and Rachel could have actually been that, but to the retarded voters shes a black female singer with a big voice therefore shes in the same box as Alex and Leona ...

Yep, I think the fact that Alexandra was last year really went against her. It's a real shame.

And I agree that she's totally different to them.
