Yeah but sure alot of them were kinda coerced into doing so during the First World War and unfortunately their names haven't been been paid tribute to in the manner their heroism deserves.

I wonder what would happen if Celtic decided to have a minutes silence in memory of the victims of Bloody Sunday during an Old Firm clash?

and so to recognise that you deliberately sing and chant during a minutes silence which is specifically about the 2 world wars in which thousands of Irish died to keep The UK free from Nazi takeover?

Who I support does not make what happened at the Falkirk stadium any less or any more. It is irrelevant.

Of course it does because you have a blatantly obvious agenda here which renders you incapable of actually having a discussion on this topic.

Remembering those who died.
Everyone should have done it.

People have there reasons. Bear in mind these people have died for the freedom for people to not remember them.

I find it worse when people get all loving and remembering during remembrance, but do they remember during allllll those other day's of the year?

It's such a fad in many cases. And specially for LeatherTrumpet, note I said 'many cases' not 'it is a fad in all cases and nazi's are awesome'.

why?

why would my disgust at not staying silent to remember the sacrifice that young men made to protect my country in any way be tarnished because I happen to support rangers. does the club i support preclude me. Why are lots of other posters disgusted?

what agenda other than being a human do i need to be appalled?

Your viewing it in narrow terms to suit your own needs, as usual. None of us are defending what the Celtic fans did.

We've gone over this already but you just continue to not see the other side of the coin here and involve yourself in a balanced, rather than reactionary discussion.

This is about Irish Scottish and English people. Also football. The war is the theme, but the actual topic is about the way people reacted.

there is no other side of the coin just the tired clutching at straws republican argument that no one ever pays any attention too.

check your local media for details. I have also not heard Celtic make your case, which is strange would you not think?
