But not all Muslim families are so flippant and forceful with their children, there's as much variety as there is in christian people or people of any other religion or creed.

Not all Muslim families are like that tho But the majority of them is, and it's terrible.

Like I said, it's a question of trust, my parents trust me more about things that they wouldn't for my sisters, and vice versa. At the end of the day, it's all good, my older sister isn't in shock or anything, and my little one is breaking the rule. It's a family life, this is how it works and every family isn't perfect, we all have differences. And yet not everyone is being harmed by this, not shocked or traumatized.
