Default Its sad that at this point last year ...

We had 4 out of 5 deserving finalists and 2 of them fell before the final, but this year in most series' the 2 'deserving' finalists we have would simply be filler and out in the early to middle stages

Despite not particularly liking Danyl/Olly, I do think any of the final 5 this year have potential to be a good winner, there's no-one there I'd expect to flop on their face [assuming they were marketed correctly].

I'd love Lloyd to finish 4th [same as Diana, my fave, last year].

The 4 you mentioned I think were deserving finalists ... and Eoghan 'my name is made up of random letters' Quigg was in the top 5

I miss Ruth

No insulting Eoghan.

But yeah the standard this year is nowhere near as high as it was last year, but as Darenn said, I think all five do have the potential to be good winners.

Still miss last year loads though, and I can't see any future year topping it.

Diana was clearly robbed. I think the top 5 is not that bad this year. It could have been worse if John & Edward, Rikki or Kandy Rain made it.

I don't understand all the fuss around Joe. I find him highly irritating, his face, his childish gimmicks and his political correctness annoy the hell out of me. I don't buy his voice either. Yeah he's good but that's it, nothing much.

So yeah, Olly/Danyl/Stacey to win.

Diana should have won.
This year the standard has slipped terribly. The only act who deserves to win is Joe and I can't see him doing too well, there's a good chance he'll turn out like Leon Jackson.

Leon was alright, but Rhydian owned the competition from day 1 and should have won by FAR. It's sad for Leon he didn't get the success he wanted because he's a good singer but Rhydian could have been an Opera superstar.
I guess it's always the 12 y-o vaginas who vote.
