Not what after you had got to know the guy after 6 months. Not what in an ideal world, not bearing in mind everyone is lovely.

There is little merit in posting "It doesnt matter what outside package that person come in, its al about who they are as a person. And if you get to spend sometimes with that guy, you will know about him. But most of all, I think you should trust, how youve raised your daughter."

because it is not relevant, it may sound good and make you feel nice but it is not what this thread is about.

This thread is about being a Dad, being responsible for your daughter and making a judgement based on few facts. This is reality not happyland.

You may not have time to get to know the boy/man before a problem (if it) arises, you do not have that luxury. This is why sometimes, like this, "wonderful world" politics are no use.
