Default 3AM's verdict on the secret X Factor gig

It's a really interesting read!

Quote:

Those of you who follow us on Twitter will know that last night we drank lots of free wine and threw ourselves at The X Factor finalists.

Danyl, Olly, Stacey and Joe were all performing at a special secret gig laid on for fans (and starstruck journalists) by TalkTalk in Soho. The foursome answered questions, signed some stuff and sang two songs each. And now we're going to do a Louis Walsh and analyse each of them in turn, just to make them squirm.

Stacey Solomon, apart from her unfortunate camel toe, looked completely stunning in real life - and seems genuinely overwhelmed by all the attention she's getting. Despite rumours that her and Danyl don't get on, the two were dancing backstage while Joe performed, and she basically didn't stop smiling for two hours. Her performances were good but the fact that we can't recall what one of her songs was is perhaps an indication that she's not quite as memorable as some of the boys. Although it might just have been the aforementioned free wine.

Joe McElderry is going to win. Even the other three admitted they're pretty sure of that. And he deserves to - not only is he obviously a great singer, but he's very sweet too - while Stacey performed, he was sneakily taking pictures from the side of the stage (and it's quite easy for him to go unnoticed, given that he's about two feet tall). He seems shy and sweet but we're sure he'll grow in confidence if things go well - although we're not sure he'll get to snog Beyonce, which he says is his big dream.

Olly Murs was the surprise of the evening - and not in a good way. When he's singing, he's got oodles of charisma and real star quality, but he really needs to work on his banter. Even when the finalists were hit with pretty straightforward and predictable questions like "What's been the funniest moment of the series?" he was stumped and said he couldn't think of anything to say. We were expecting him to be extremely likeable, but he was verging on dull, and talks in bad cliches like a footballer. If we were him, we'd be a bit worried about the result of this weekend's show - he's good, yes, but he's just not quite as good as the others. Saying that, he is super hot (right down to the sexy chest hair, which Danyl and Joe are lacking - the jury's out on Stacey, as her top had a high neckline) and perhaps that alone will see him through to the final. It seems like he wants it more than the others, too - while the others witter on about enjoying the "experience" and the "journey" and all that, he continues to be the most upfront about being in it to win it, as we all saw on Sunday's show when he was a little ungentlemanly about Lloyd getting voted off.

We feel sorry for Danyl Johnson. He's had such a hard time from the press, the judges and, well, pretty much the whole world, that it's obvious he's now desperate to be liked. But the thing is, we do like him - and we're obviously not alone, since he keeps getting voted through. We're sure there must be some truth to the rumours of diva strops, but in person he's smiley, likeable and professional, and his OTT-ness seems oddly natural. And what use is a popstar if they can't throw a good diva strop every now and again anyway? We also think he should give Olly some lessons in chatting to the public - he totally commanded the press conference, and came across more like a super-slick TV presenter than a singing wannabe. Oh, and he also didn't mind when we took the piss out of his habit of wearing cropped trousers and flip-flops whatever the weather - although he insists he hasn't worn them for a week or two. We hope he makes it to the final, but it's been so up and down for him that it's impossible to predict the result of this weekend's semis.

The highlight of our evening was definitely the live performances from all four acts. We even squealed a bit when Danyl did his whole eye contact thing. What a smoothie. Low point of our evening: Seeing The Cheeky Girls perform The Cheeky Song (Touch My Bum) live at the ITV party we went on to. Actually, screw that, it was the low point of our whole lives.

Thats such a biased article. It might as well just say on the top line "we want Joe to win so this article is about nit picking faults in others".

Kissing Beyonce? Oh Joe the only person you're lying to is yourself

I don't really care who wins as long as it's not Danyl really.

Olly was not being ungentlemanly when Lloyd was voted off. He was just so happy and relieved that Dermot called out his name. There was NOTHING wrong with his reaction!

Anywho I think the final 4 will go like this..

1st - Joe
2nd - Stacey
3rd - Olly
4th - Danyl
