That's not that easy a group for England and I would have really fancied Irelands chances if they'd been there instead of France in that group.

Algeria are an improving nation who've had a string of good results recently that's seen their world ranking sky rocket. USA are always dangerous and Slovenia knocked out the Russians. I wouldn't look lightly on any of those matches.

Fair enough, mon frere.
For me, and I am definitely biased,

A: France, South Africa

B: Argentine, Nigeria

c: England, Usa

Ghana, Germany

E: Holland, Cameroon

F: Italy, Paraguay

G: Bresil, Portugal

H: Suisse, Chilie

Lets compare notes, after the 1st round, to see which one of us, is the genious.

A Mexico & France
B Argentina, Nigeria
C England, Usa
D Germany, Serbia
E Netherlands, Denmark
F Italy, Slovakia/Paraguay
G Brazil, Portugal/Ivory Coast
H Spain, Switzerland

Why is everyone ruling out denmark? Seriously the hardest group and they came top of it, they came above portugal and sweden..

As for Spain not going through.. lol cant see them failing and chilie and switzerland winning..

Youe officially been entered too 30! You, me, and Remy, will be judged on our international soccer IQ after the first round.
We should make this a bracket, with points. I am gonna try to make one.

Yeah, to be honest we may aswell make a "world cup prediction game" thread at some point, once all matches are announced, just fill them in nearer the time.

This is a good idea to seeing who will go through each round like a different kind of prediction.

Have to say though, you have got 1 wrong already spain..

Edit : call me Ben by the way

Tbh i dont care if we have the group of death, we should fear no one full stop with two dots.. let us play germany in the second round those fools are easily broken down. we will have to beat a good side to win it this year.
