Hello everyone.

Hope everyone is well.

I was just wondering if you could help.

I had a 5 month relationship with a guy called Josh from May - September. And i proper loved him, and still do to this very day. He moved to leeds unfortunatly half way through our relationship, and thought we could still keep it going, distance broke us apart in September. Now hes moved on, and found a person that goes to the same school as him etc. And i dont feel happy, i feel sad and upset, and i really miss him. I recently turned on my old phone and found texts from him and i just cried.

I didnt know how much i missed him and i cant get him back, and its really pissing me off that i cant get over him.

Any advice?

You have to move on Conzors, even though it might be hard.

It hurts, right? Well just be happy in knowing that it's normal and it'll probably happen a lot of times before you find someone who sticks. It's just a part of life and there's no way to avoid it. The best way to deal with it is obvious... do things that make you happy. Also, you get some people who like to be friends with their exes... I, however, don't. You need closure. Get rid of the photos. Get rid of the texts. Get rid of anything that might bring the memories back. It's ok someday to look back, but it's no good at the moment while you're healing. Stoke the fires, burn the bridges, and understand that you're just a padawan in the art of love and that this was only practice.

Wow, I enjoyed reading this post Dr Gonzo, I agree, although I havnt really been in love with anybody, fancied the pants off some people before, but nothing got close, so dont have any memories which would make me feel down. But I think this would help if you feel like how you do Conor.
