So naive....ALL MTV shows are pretty much staged as is most Reality TV. American reality TV STRIVES on 'drama' and since the Real World is pre-recorded it's very easy for the producers to tell participants how to act, producers want drama and contestants want media careers so they work together. It's the same as the hills. Life is nothing like what you see on The real World, they're not real people they're just talentless hacks trying to get their 15 minutes.

BB do use twists to manipulate situations but they ultimately don't tell HM's how to act, it's a gameshow so it's meant to have twists and tasks. The comparision in your post is pretty terrible.
