Hey Jords and hello Remy as well. Yeah sometimes I post a lot or a bit..

I like to try and post in most threads!

I am tired but I can't wait until we are time warped into 2010

Hey Niamh, how are ya? And not much really, we just make ourselves a little buffet, might play a few board games, watch something good on telly or put on a dvd. I think in the past we've gone to a family friends' house and had a bit of a party, but the man of the house is recovering from a heart attack so hes taking it easy, we normally go there boxing day too. You got much planned?

How are you thebeast and Baz?

Oh, hope he's ok now Jordan? Gav is on call so we're staying in so I bought myself a bottle of sparkly rose and we have a couple of DVDs to watch, the fire is lit too so a nice cosy New Years with my hubby!!

Are you watching out for that special eclipse tonight?

I am staying in tonight. Me and my bf are cooking together. We are having steak, chips and peas and have a fruit flan for pudding!

Yeah he is fine now thanks Niamh! He had like the heart burn sort of heart attack, rather that a really painful one, so he took some gaviscon (sp) and the pain went away, so he did just think he had heart burn, but next thing he kept collapsing and that, poor bloke, early on xmas morning too so he couldnt spend it with his grand kids.
And ahh sounds great, we have some alcohol aswell to have

Yeah early hours, then had to spend 5 days in the hospital so only got let out on Tuesday, but yepp he was fine when we visited him in the hospital so should be all good

That call Gav went to last night was pretty sad too, the house that was flooded had a terminally ill woman living with her 2 teenage kids in it, she had to be taken to hospital but she didn't want to go cos she'll end up dying in there and they have no living relatives and the dad walked out on them years ago, so sad, makes you think how bad some people have it

That is awful, are they actually alright from the flood, or did the woman go to hospital because of her terminal illness?

Well, they couldn't stay in the house and one of the neighbours said the kids could stay with him for the night but he didn't want to take the mother cos she was so sick, she probably should have been in hospital all along anyway but I suppose she was worried what would happen to her kids.
