Let's not forget, writing songs is not the 'be all and end all' of becoming a star - how many songs did Elvis write?
The true test of a star is someone who can appear on any stage - be it a huge concert or a television studio - and sing LIVE!! The only person who has done that, as I'm sure you all know, is .....  My answer to your question, Wildchild - if you haven't guessed yet - is   WILL!
