When Alex retaliated with a joke about not hitting an old man Vinnie comes out with "well people are fed up with you training in the house all the time, they all reckon you're sweaty and stink", then refuses to say who'd made these comments - clearly not a joke, just a way of trying to make Alex feel targeted. Classic bully behaviour, seen it many times before.

There will always be a hardcore of Vinnie fans - usually certain types of males - who like to identify with the alpha male types - who will always make excuses for his behaviour, he is only joking - see the glint in his eye - people are over sensitive etc. He is a grade A muppet who can dish it out, but can't take it - simple as!
