No. A crime of passion is not the same as revenge.......A crime of passion is when one is temporary out of ones mind with the stress of being a victim of serious crime. Not really in control of your ations......However if one did in cold blood plan a revenge killing then that is indeed cold blooded murder and should be dealt with accordingly.....

You make a valid point, but I think this is more of an incentive for healthcare to receive proper funding than to bring in the death penalty. It goes without saying that prisoners should live on basic subsistence. As far as I see it, lengthy or lifetime jail sentence is justice. The utmost duty of the law should be to protect society and once a criminal is incarcerated, they no longer have any power over their victims. At this stage, revenge becomes pointless.

Murder is subjective, therefore this whole debate is a sham.

Killing the killer does not bring the victim back.

I think there would be fewer people calling for the death penality if indeed murderes did get life..Instead they get minimum terms which are often quite ridiculous and do not serve justice........

17 year old stabs young cadet and gets 17 year and then could be released.......Sorry but the victim cannot go before a board in 17 years time and ask for his life back......Cold blooded killers of that type should never never come out......Regardless of his young age.........

My view if we ration the sick to the point they die as a result then we should consider rationing the affordability of keeping worthless murderers alive......Makes moral sense.......

Nope, not the death pelanty, two wrongs don't make a right etc. and tbh, imprisoning them for life would be a much worse punishment, as they'd be forced to live with what they'd done..killing them is just giving them an escape from personal torture
