![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I've been trying to remember all the lines for a poem you helped me with at School! It went something like this: A goblin lived inside a hut, He was a jolly fellow. The funny thing about him was, He loved the colour yellow. A yellow chair and table, Sat beside a yellow mat. He had a little yellow coat, And a small yellow hat. One day while walking in the field, Some buttercups he saw, Growing nearby a muddy pool, A hundred, maybe more! But as he reached to pick them, To put in his wee dish, He slipped into the muddy pool, And was swallowed by a fish! A woeful tale, I must agree, I hear you cry "Poor fellow", But here's the happy ending now, You see...the fish was yellow!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I couldn't remember all of the lines but this was the general gist ![]() ![]() |
