no? you don't get record deals at the brits school. it's just a school which teaches performing arts and the compulsary study. for x factor you can't have a signed deal i think.

She doesn't deserve it tbh.
If it was Spirit era then definitely, but Florence and Lily have been better this year. Even Pixie has.

C'mon, Pixie's better than all of the other 4 nominees combined. She's so bloody underrated it's annoying. I'd say the only worthy nominee other than her would be Florence, but I swear I'm gonna kill someone if neither of them win.

Florence and Lily's music has been of a higher quality IMO, but Pixie's album has been good.

I'm surprised as well that she hasn't won, but I don't think there's a chance in hell that'll she walk away with the Best British Female Artist award tonight. 2009 wasn't her year at all.

Lily Allen for the win. Leona is basically known for one single. Maybe not in UK and Ireland but elsewhere, her second album went unnoticed.
