I think girls, from an early age, should be encourgaged to aim for wider career choices than just teachers and nurses - ie there should be more women engineers, scientists etc - but to just aspire to be complete waste of spaces like Paris Hilton is beyond comprehension. The value system of this country has so gone downhill in that respect. Mind you, despite the survey - I think most girls in higher education have more sense!
To be fair, it was first asked 40 years ago and the pattern wasn't the same, girls had less opportunity of getting high placed jobs than today. At the time, being a nurse or a teacher was the best job for a girl. But now they can have these jobs which can earn you a lot of money if you work well instead of showing your vagina every saturday night.

I just couldn't go out with a slut, I couldn't.
