Indeed apart from the few idiot minority of fans, us genuine fans can be sporting when it comes to wishing a player whether on our team or opposition a quick recovery if they are injured as it's not nice but you have to deal with it.

He shouldn't have to IMO, he'll obviously feel guilty and upset about what has happened but the manager has chosen him so he should get on with it and focus for the game whilst also sending Ramsey an apology.

I get so pissed off when people say rooney needs someone to play up with..why does he? hes lethal in the box on his own as hes proved this season at United, and his heading has improved a hell of alot

Rooney has practiced a lot on his headers, he said he would in his interview on MUTV and it paid off. Rooney works best with Jermain Defoe IMO anyway.

lennon, walcott, beckham and milner will all do a better job on the right than swp.

When Wes is on form he can play well, he's better as a right back then playing at centre back.. he's been a bit shaky at times this season but he can do a job for the team.

Yeah Nath he realised that was one thing he needed to improve about his game. Rooney's just a class act.
