Why do you have to measure one extreme with another. There is the middle ground - that most people fit into! The normal, healthy body - not too fat, not too thin.

She's a breath of fresh air for women everywhere who are continually pressurized and conditioned into thinking that skinny is sexy and everything else is horrid. Girls shouldn't read those glamour magazines, where the main aim is to heighten their feelings of insecurity.

I'm not talking about her weight: I'm talking about the stance she's decided to take. I applaud her for doing it.

I dislike her stance, she should have opened her legs a bit and made them look longer

My girlfriend is that sort of size.. very slightly bigger arms and legs, smaller hips though, and slightly smaller boobs.

Fighting fire with fire and provoking a change in how women view their bodies, that's all. She's reacting to all the waifish, severely undernourished young women who starve themselves to look "attractive" in today's age. I welcome it.

You welcome the fact that in a few years 40% of the women in england could be obease..?

Of course I don't, but denying your body essential nutrients is just as bad in it's own way. Hopefully women will stop having such a negative view of their own bodies and embrace the beauty that is inherent in every naturally formed feminine shape. Ditto is just a reaction to the rubbish that's being fed to women in today's age. You think girls eat because of Ditto? No, they eat because they have low self esteem and bad body image which is a direct result of all these magazines that demand a girl to be a certain size and shape.

Don't welcome the fact that there will be equally as many obese men as well!

Of course not, but as WOMBAI said, there's such thing as the middle-ground. Sure, I wouldn't shag an obese person, but at the same time, I'm not going to shag a bag of bones.
