I know they have picked the last couple of hundred, they lay out the pics like you see on x factor etc and then they start to phone everyone. It can take a week or more because there is a lot to discuss, secret meetings at secret rendezvous, mountains of paperwork you have to get together to bring, pass words, passports, driving licence, rent book, wage slips, medical records, you name it. I'm afraid I cannot say how I know.
