Ive just read the question, it is actually who do you prefer, so fair enough saying Jedward and I would say Ellie Goulding too. I thought it said who is better, but still, preferring Jedward over MJ is pretty :S:S:S

We are using the word 'better' to describe how successful an artist is.

So in that case, Michael Jackson is, or was better than Jedward, because he was more successful.
