This includes a large number of 50+ workers (who dont even bother to register for benefits simply because they wouldnt receive anything except National Insurance credits, which they dont need as most have already qualified for the Ols Age Pension), single mothers with children under 11, school leavers, etc. |

UK National Statistics Hub. Eurostat Official government figures do not include hidden unemployment, only those actively seeking work and claiming benefits. They also do not include those who are underemployed, people with seasonal or temporary jobs, or part time jobs who would rather be employed in a permanent full time position.
