Michaels/Taker was good, absolutely slaughtered everything else on the card etc. but wasn't up to last year as you'd expect. Chunks of it were straight rehashes, and you had Michael Cole doing his best to ruin every single false finish in the whole thing. I thought the finish itself was terrific though, both the super Tombstone and Michaels forcing Taker to kill him properly. Good stuff. Also the moonsault spot was tasty. Both Michaels and Taker were still streets ahead of most of the card in terms of subtle mannerisms and dramatic facial expressions, which doesn't bode too well for the future.

I'll more than likely watch it back tomorrow at some point, hard to take everything in and type on here as well....at this point I'd give the whole thing 7/10...elevated a point by the Taker/HBK match at the end...but the rest didn't really fill me with as much excitement as I thought it would, MITB was good but wanted Christian to win, can't see Swagger getting much of a push regardless of the fact he won. Kofi would even have been better really.

Oh and Cole needs to be sacked. Just awful.
