Indeed and Corrie is loved for it's humour which it is great at doing but I wouldn't want it to be happy all the time as soaps are meant to reflect real life although at times they can be so unrealistic PMSL if Corrie was happy like some people expect it to be there wouldn't be nothing interesting going on IMO anyway.

They know that this is the way people will take notice.. it's been a hit and miss year for Corrie in terms of public opinion.
