haha it's the best book i've ever read. The dinamics of those lads on an Island are just wicked. And the symbolism and foreshadowing and all is done very well. Oh and the use of foils (Ralph and Jack) is done really well. And the allusions of Simon to christ are remarkable as well. Great book, you should try it, really.

When we were put into sets for English there were a smart group and a dumb group, I was put in the dumb group

And whilst the other smart group were reading Lord of the flies, we were reading Animal Farm :/

Oh so you love the films not the books? Personally I've always enjoyed the books a lot more than the films but I do like both. I would reccomend them but they are a little different from the films, just a little warning.
