PS Andy - we regard Engerland as being England/Wales - same laws, same voting patterns - so I wish my socialist country to be free from England/Wales as you'd then have to call it on the geography books/maps. Maybe just call it Engerland for ease and forget the Welsh attachment.
Was you at Ember while Tony was there?

No you call it Engerland to wind up Englanders. Coz you are an Engerland hating Scotchman

If you take it down to being a "Celt" and name calling, then fine. I'm not necessarily anti-Engerland, or anti-Engerlish - I just believe we have voted overwhelmingly different from England/Wales and have little to do with "Greater England" (what I think it should be called on in the map encompassing the principality of former Wales once we're free). If you wish to count socialists, count 6 plus 41 Scottish Labour MPs which essentially hung your Parliament. Take them out and you have your right wing public school Tory Govt. No need to fall in bed with the Lib/Dem leader who was at public school with David. (The word 'fag' from English public school thing certainly comes to mind)
How many of the current cabinet went to public school?

You have said you feel "Scotland is chained to England", so shouldn't you feel angry with your fellow tribes people for not voting SNP and gaining full independence? I assume that's what you want. You should feel lucky in England there is no chance of a nationalist party even getting a seat in parliament let alone independence for England. So we certainly feel chained to you Scots and have to put up with a lot of your people's hatred for class and a capitalist system Scotland has benefited considerably from, yet a lot of you consistently moan about. A good example of a case of biting the hand that feeds you.

Did you pay any tuition fees for your degree? Your education towers above mine. I only went to a state school and had a year at college. As a class warrior and a socialist I am surprised you're getting haughty at your education. Is this because you want to feel intellectually superior to me? Why else would you bring it up?

If you elect 47 SNP MPs that would surely give you the right to declare full independence, if it doesn't then people have to ask what is the purpose of the SNP. Considering more people in England at the 2005 general election voted Conservative is it tenable that a Labour government should rule with a 66 majority?

If you're happy for people in Scotland voting Labour that's fine, just remember you are part of the UK and therefore you have to respect how other people in the country vote who have opposite views to you.

Alex Salmond said half the Scottish population was English or of English descent, the other half is of Irish descent.
Ergo Scotland does not exist.

It all seems untenable as we have nothing to do with England thought-wise about what we want
But they still do

Doh Homer - we declare to be socialist by having 80+% voting for socialist party's every time of asking at UK, National or local elections.

I really don't mind if their colour is SNP or Scottish Labour. Once we're free you'd have to presume SNP disappears and we vote on other things - one socialist's avowed election points as against anothers

Now you've suddely changed tune from 'if Scotland wanted to vote freedom in general election' to 'you have to respect others in UK'. Make up your mind silly child - Scotland did and returned 47 socialists to your David Cameron public school-fest.

I know Alex quite well as used to drink with him in the pubs in EDI when my flatmate was the leading SNP student in SNP group (I was not). Tell me where/when he said that nonesense you just tried to quote and I'll get his response.

The only socialist parties in Scotland are on the fringes... meaning whichever party Tommy Sheridan is a member of these days.

Labour in Scotland is the same as UK New Labour. The Scottish MPs agreed to stand under its manifesto so must agree with its policies.

But your argument about the Tories not being entitled to rule Scotland only relates to the UK government; Holyrood doesn't come in to it as that has a different ruling party.

And the UK Labour party is the same as Scottish Labour when it comes to UK elections.

If you go back to the opening post, my argument relates to Scotland being an essentialy socialist country now ruled by a Tory Government. In Scotland yez have one MP, no mandate.

Others brought in national and local elections..............socialists similarly win 80+% of the popular vote in each, hence a socialist Hollyrood.

Explain to me like I'm a 5 year old why a distincly different country should be ruled by your government????

I love when people become incapable of defending an indefensible position - a bit like Davie boy with Scotland.
