Tommorow I think I am getting a new phone I dont know which one to get though. My parents thing a HTC (I think thats what its called) is the best. Are they any good? I really want an iPhone but a family friend said they arent that good.
Which kind of mobile is best?

It's just a phone. Get an iPhone if you can, they're pretty good if you want all that extra stuff. If you just want a good camera phone that you can text and call with go for something from Sony Ericsson. If you're a granny get Nokia.

Depends what you will be using it for mostly.

Blackberry > iPhone for texting, email and all-round "hand-held computer" stuff, BBM.

iPhone > Blackberry for apps, music and video.

Most people I know who have an iPhone love the apps and the things you can do with it, but the touch screen gets annoying and aren't as reliable as Blackberrys, however Blackberrys are pretty confusing until you get used to them. I wouldn't go for an HTC personally.
