The sooner Britain's key workers lose 5% of their pay and family's who really depend on child benefit lose it is a good thing? It won't be good when mass strikes occur. I'm sure you remember the Thatcher period. No bins emptied? That time will come again.

If bins weren't emptied that was the fault of the union bosses who took the workers out on strike on the slightest whim. Maggie will go down in history as the PM who tamed the out of control Unions who were holding this country to ransom. So try putting the blame where it belongs for a change.

I dont know who told you what, but you really have got your facts mixed up there Lucy. If you want to talk about strikes look at the way the unions dragged this country to its knees in the 70's while Wilson and Callaghan (Labour PMs) were at the wheel.
