I have a feeling that Brazil will be knocked out in the quarter finals. I reckon Argentina or Spain will win - but I'm remaining hopeful for England.

That could only happen if Argentina or Spain qualify as second place in their group.

Considering they have two of the easiest groups, I can't see anything but them both coming top.

They still have good options..

Snijder (his best season)
Van Der Vaart (out of favour at madrid but a great player none the less)
Kuyt (not the best but puts the effort in and achieves)
Huntelaar (Great scorer)
Van Persie (world class striker, should make a massive difference)

3 attacking midfielders 2 strikers all world class.. ish.

Yeah, Van Der Vaart will play if he's not fit. Still got a strong line up and a good defense. Really think they could do damage this year, as long as Van Persie stays healthy. Think he could be the star of the World Cup... he seriously is that good when he's flying.

Agreed and with players around him like that he will be getting good delivery.


I will be watching as many games as possible, really excited about the world cup now.
