So what issues did Craig, Cameron, Kate, Anthony, Brian, Rachel, Sophie have then?

I've got no problem with disabled people going in and I do not think they get a free pass to the final. Pete was a great bloke, true some more simple minded people thought he was great because he swore alot, but he was a decent bloke, IIRC he was the only person who didn't gang up on Shahbaz (I know Shahbaz was a pain in the arse, but he didn't need to be ganged up on) He didn't bitch like most of the others, he was really entertaining and IMO he deserved to win. Mikey had his moments, he wasn't one of my favourites, but he had a sweet friendship with Rachel that people loved and he wasn't worried about saying what he thought, he could be quite funny with it too. Verne wasn't that great, but he also had his moments. Sophia had lupus before entering the house but she was kicked out pretty quick because she was a bitch.

So basically 1 disabled person wins and you say all disabled people will win? That hasn't actually happened though has it?

There's more to people than their disabilities, and that's what counts.

It could just depend on their personality. I've met disabled people who are absolute arseholes

All depends what the disability is. If it's a disability where other housemates feel embarrassed to be their normal selves, then no.

So if a supposedly "normal" person feels uncomfortable around a disabled person, that's the disabled person's fault is it? What rubbish.

Get em in i say. It wasn't till the blind man of the big brother series i had to give up watching (forget the number) that i realised i could hate a blind man, they can be cock ends as well.

The theme of big brother is a bit "carny" it would be very dodgy i think if they had this theme then put midgets and so on in, people might think "freak show" and not in the normal big brother way.

Well, Steve blows the "disabled as victim" argument out of the water - he's done more in his life and IS still doing more in his life than most so called "normal" people.

nickc25 - Sorry but do we not need to identify the disability and treat it with some respect or should we stop building ramps cause we're all the same?

We aren't all the same though and we should aid people in anyway we can rather than just trump out "we are all the same" because "we are all the same" seems to me to lead to when people have special requirements there is resentment rather than understanding...

but i can see you are quite annoyed by some people on here so will let you vent lol

I havent said "we are all the same" have I? I was saying that a disabled person can be a total idiot or a nice person. Doesnt matter what their body enables them to do or not to do does it?

I hate it when there is "pity" for someone that is disabled. Why should there be pity? A lot, if not most disabled people live just as good of a life as a non disabled person does.

I know many people who are lazy and cant be arsed with doing basic things yet because someone is disabled they are praised just for doing "normal" stuff. Sure I have to take a cocktail of painkillers to get through the day but I have a great life, everyone should be given the same opportunities. People like the person that made this thread make me sick. Not bothering to reply again as I have made my point.

Why not shoot all the black people, disabled people and old people and be done with it? Pathetic.

It's like joe off family guy lol you're normal we get it... I think the reason people might give a man who has no legs more credit for riding a bike or something is because he is kind of at a disadvantage from the get go, i don't think people mean to be patronising just it is more impressive to achieve a physical feat for which you are in someway impaired.

But i can see why it would annoy you.
