He does do all the cooking but he doesn't do the washing up, i remember him saying a few days into the show, i dont mind doing the cooking but i hate clearing up.

I suppose it gives him something to pass his time, doing all the cooking.

Lots of men like cooking, don't they? Most of my male friends do. Never the posh, metro ones either - it's my hairy "lad's lad" mates who get all excited about cooking you a meal and who compete with one another. From what I can figure, Nathan is one of those. He apparently fancies Sophie Dahl partly because her cooking skills get him excited.
