No he's not.He's just having a rest.

He controls that house,he's the master manipulator,everyone comes to him for reassurance and sounding out on confrontations and actually listens to him.

Those he doesn't like,like Dave, cry about being cast out of his glorious shadow and beg him to reconsider friendship.He is the person that people hate at school,yet still want to be friends with.
