Much better quality in this match. England wont have much chance against these lads if they continue to play like they did this afternoon.

I reckon they will play better against them over Ghana. They seem to rise to a challenge

Hate it when they go over old facts. Has no relevance to this year at all. Both ITV and the BBC do it.

Yeah I feel the same tbh Nate, we need to up our game a bit more whoever we play, it doesn't really make that much difference

Exactly. Thats why I'm fed up of the constant referrals to the past. Each game is a game in it's own right. Who cares what happened in the bloody 70's or 80's or even last week actually

The urgency is upped in the next game, and there wont be any complacency that we've blatently had in the first 2 matches

England need to play better but I was impressed today. Not a World Cup winning performance though but in all honesty I'm yet to see one. It seems a bit of a scrappy year

Definitely all played better today, like you said though we seem to play better both against better sides and when the pressure is really on.

Milner and Defoe made all the difference today, Milner was MOTM for me. Defence still a bit shaky but apart from that I was impressed. And no team is playing to it's full potential yet, slow starts mean nothing.

I thought Ashley Cole was MOTM (for me) and I never EVER thought I'd think that! Following that, great game by James

Cole played really well today (I hate him off the field but on it he is usually pretty much faultless and he was today). James proved that he should have been named #1 before the tourney even started imo.
